Consider coming to the Yakima Valley wineries during one of the special event weekends. The next one coming up is Thanksgiving in the Wine Country. It is the 3 days following Thanksgiving at most of the wineries. Participating wineries pair a food or recipe with one of their wines and usually have extra good specials along with tasting for the weekend. If you can't make that weekend the next one is over President's Day weekend in February and is a must for any wine and chocolate lover. Red Wine and Chocolate weekend is gaining in popularity. It's a great way to beat the winter blahs! Both of these special weekends are a great way to experience the Valley wineries.
