Areas & Schools - 2007/06/06 11:51 Hello,
My family and I are going to be arriving in Yakima by the first of July. I have three children, one that will be starting high school. Can anyone tell me what they think is the best school district? I also would like to know about the area, I do not want to live in a high crime area of sorts. If anyone has suggestions, please let me know.

We are also looking for a house to rent 3-4 bedrooms. I have a nice dog, just lays around, and a fat cat that does the same. They have never destroyed anything and are good pets. We are coming from New Mexico, have an excellent rental history, and prior to that we lived in Portland Oregon where we owned our home.

Are you wanting to rent in the country or city? You can PM me if you want to and I can tell you more about neighborhoods.

The West Valley area is a good place to live too.

Re:Areas & Schools - 2007/06/08 12:48 If you look on the left where the little hands are, you see PM that is Private Message. Click that on a post that I wrote and you can leave me a message in private. I hestitate to talk about neighborhoods here as some would be offended.

We live in West Valley in the country, we have neighbors, but not so many so we have some privacy. It takes us about 10-15 minutes to get into town. I could look the next time we are out and see what is for rent out here. We can ask our neighbor, he is in the church near here and usually knows what is going on. I will try to do this and get back to you. It may be a couple days. It would be nice to have a nice new neighbor. It is nice out here, we never have any problems that occur in town. You can PM me with more questions now if you wish. Stay in touch.
