I moved down here to Yakima about a year ago but I'm still not too familiar with the area. My son is turning 4 on the 15th and I'd like to take him to a place he'd have a blast at. We don't have family out here and very few friends so I just rather go out and show him a good time. But where, and in this weather?? Any suggestions? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

This time of year options are more limited for sure. There is the Meadowbrook Family Fun Center out on Nob Hill and 72nd is a great place, but it may not be perfect for a four year old. You might also try roller-skating at Skateland in Union Gap, I think the phone # is (509) 575-6442. There is also Gymnastics Plus that I know used to have a huge climbing gymn called Kids Castle, we're talking way bigger than the best McDonalds climbing gymn ever built - I might even get excited about it, and it's been a while since I was 4! This would be my definite best recommendation for you to check into - their number is 509.459.8126.
