EverythingYAKIMA.com Communnity Forum Rules

While we're not big about micro-managing this forum and what you want to talk about, we do need to have some rules in place so that this forum remains a positive center for community in the Yakima Valley.  Thus, we've made the following rules, and we will enforce them.

  • The EverythingYakima.com Community Forum relies on the integrity of its users.  That means we're putting a lot of responsibility in your hands to make this a great forum - and keep it that way.
  • The forum is not pre-moderated, meaning if you post something it goes onto the forum right away.  However, don't even think about posting obscene, hateful, violent, threatening, pornographic, or solicitous content.  We are watching and objectionable posts will be deleted and the perpetrators banned.  Harsh?  Perhaps.  Necessary, absolutely.
  • We reserve the right to deny any post for any reason.  If your post is rejected, you will be given an explanation and the opportunity to edit and repost.
  • The purpose of this forum is to promote healthy community. The following information will cause a post to be denied:
    • Another individual's contact information or email address, or any other personal information (credit card number, social security number, etc.) that could endanger their security or identity.
    • Profanity, vulgarity, hate speech, disruptive or hostile comments, interpersonal disputes, threats of violence, or promotion of illegal activity.
    • Material that is obscene, pornographic or adult in nature.
    • Spam or solicitations for illegal pyramid schemes, chain letters, and other unscrupulous activities.
    • Posts will not be edited for spelling, grammar, or style.
    • A new thread may be requested at the discretion of the moderator if a discussion starts to go off topic.
    • These guidelines may be modified or added to at any time by EverythingYakima.com administration.
