Blueberry Hill Berries features a variety of great-tasting beautiful berries.  Strawberries begin in early June with a taste and smell like vine-ripened berries should.

Twelve different varieties of blueberries follow in mid-June through July.  They are farm fresh, firm, and tasty.  A variety of other berries are offered in season such as raspberries, blackberries, black caps, jostaberries, gooseberries, and currants.

The Weijohn family has farmed in the Yakima Valley for four generations.  We enjoy the life style and independence of country living. We have loved living in a place where the fruit and produce are incredible all summer long.  We are picky about the quality of fresh food.  We want to give that kind of excellent quality to our customers – that difference between local, fresh-picked, and vine-ripened quality and what we find in grocery stores.

Very Disappointed
Reviewed by Leonard, 2007-08-02

We were visiting our son in Yakima, went on line to find a place of interest in the area, and found this Blueberry Hill place and thought it would be a great thing to do. We called in advance (Aug 2, 2007) and got a recording that stated that they were open for a couple hours in the morning, and a couple hour's in the afernoon (2pm to 4pm) so we arrived at 2:15 pm only to find nothing or no one there, no berries, no people, NOTHING. At least on the recording they could have said they were no longer doing business, or something, so we wasted a good day of our vacation on this place. So I guess if you want to attend this place, it would be wise to get ahold of a real person, and find out if someone will be available. I am totally disappointed with this shabby form of business.

blueberry picking

We had never picked blueberries before and thought it would be a nice family thing to do. I had seen a ad in the newspaper for Blueberry Hill. When we arrived we were promptly greeted, we felt welcomed. One of the people walked us to the row of berries we would work on. She told us about the different types of berries and how to tell if they were ripe. She was very helpful. Our family had a great relaxing, yet productive time.
The berries were wonderful (we have eaten them all). AAAAA+! A Great place to go!
