Basic Nature Digital Photography Class at the Arboretum.

Taught by freelance nature photographer David Hagen, this is a basic photography workshop for nature photographers with DSLR or an advanced digital zoom (SLR like) camera (no point and shoots) who want to go beyond Auto-Program mode and take more control over the photographic process.

Topics include reviewing basic camera functions, metering for best exposure, cleaning, RAW vs. JPEG images, composition, accessories, and more. If time allows David will take you onto the grounds and show you how to set up that great nature shot. Bring your camera and camera manual.
