thumb_100_0618.jpg Thanksgiving in Wine Country is an annual tradition in the Yakima Valley.  Avoid the shopping frenzy and go wine tasting instead!  And of course, wine and accessories make great Christmas gifts, so you may be able to take care of some holiday shopping AND enjoy your day!  Many Yakima Valley wineries offer a great experience during this holiday weekend, providing gourmet food, wine pairings, and fantastic new wine releases.

Thanksgiving in Wine Country is an annual tradition in the Yakima Valley.  Avoid the shopping frenzy and go wine tasting instead!  And of course, wine and accessories make great Christmas gifts, so you may be able to take care of some holiday shopping AND enjoy your day! 

Many Yakima Valley wineries offer a great experience during this holiday weekend, providing gourmet food, wine pairings, and fantastic new wine releases.  No tickets are required for the 15 wineries on the Rattlesnake Hills Wine Trail (in the Zillah area), although some wineries may charge small tasting fees.  You will need a glass, but you can bring one from home, or purchase a logo glass at any winery on the Trail.

If you’re planning to go further down the valley, you may want to purchase tickets through Wine Yakima Valley for participating wineries from Prosser to Yakima.  Thanksgiving in Wine Country ticket holders will be able to experience a variety of specialty food and wine pairings, library tastings, and tours not available to the general public.
