Discover the Valley's past at the Yakama Nation Cultural Heritage Center 

The Center is the oldest Native American museum in the country.  It was established to preserve the culture of the Yakama nation and to promote understanding among people who share this valley.  The center includes the Yakama Nation Library, a theater for performing arts and movies, a gift shop, the Heritage Inn Restaurant, the Winter Lodge banquet and convention facility, and the Yakama Nation Museum, which contains many lifelike dioramas and exhibits of intricate beadwork and baskets.
